                         {\'e} uma das principais regi{\~o}es hidrogr{\'a}ficas do 
                         Brasil e desempenho papel fundamental em diversos setores 
                         socioecon{\^o}micos do pa{\'{\i}}s, tais como agricultura e 
                         energia. Portanto, a identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o e an{\'a}lises de 
                         eventos extremos de chuva ou de seca e dos padr{\~o}es 
                         clim{\'a}ticos associados podem contribuir para progn{\'o}sticos 
                         de tais eventos. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste trabalho consistiu 
                         na identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de anos an{\^o}malos, a partir de 
                         onze fontes observacionais de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o, e 
                         caracteriza{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos principais padr{\~o}es 
                         clim{\'a}ticos de grande escala. As diversas fontes 
                         contribu{\'{\i}}ram para minimizar a incerteza na 
                         sele{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos anos extremamente secos e chuvosos. Os 
                         resultados sugerem grande influ{\^e}ncia da temperatura da 
                         superf{\'{\i}}cie do mar na parte tropical do Oceano 
                         Atl{\^a}ntico e na parte leste do Oceano Pac{\'{\i}}fico. 
                         ABSTRACT: The S{\~a}o Francisco Hydrographic Region is one of the 
                         primary hydrographic regions in Brazil and plays a crucial role in 
                         various socioeconomic sectors of the country, including 
                         agriculture and energy. Therefore, identifying and analyzing 
                         extreme rainfall or drought events and their associated climatic 
                         patterns can contribute to predicting such events. Thus, the 
                         objective of this study was to identify anomalous years based on 
                         eleven observational sources of precipitation and characterize the 
                         key large-scale climatic patterns. The inclusion of multiple 
                         observational sources helped minimize uncertainty in the selection 
                         of extremely dry and wet years. The results suggest a strong 
                         influence of sea surface temperature in the tropical Atlantic 
                         Ocean and the eastern Pacific Ocean.",
